The Basic Navigation & Safety course aims to provide an excellent introduction to general navigation and boating safety.

This is a 2 day (16 hour) course.

Specialist 1-1 tuition by the 1/2 day for brushing up or sorting out those niggling little questions
RYA Day Skipper Theory
A comprehensive introduction to chartwork navigation meteorology and the basics of seamanship. Invaluable for learning how to start making decisions on board and if you are considering taking the Day Skipper practical course.

Basic seamanship and introduction to navigation and meteorology |
| Ability after course: |
The syllabus arms would-be skippers with enough knowledge to navigate around familiar waters by day. A basic knowledge of lights, weather and IRPCS is also included. |

5 day intensive course
6 days (3 x 2 day sessions) split over 3 weeks
All in small groups
